Resin bound stone
A continuous finish for patios and paths, with colours that can coordinate with a driveway. An existing base must be suitable; drainage depends on the complete system.
Patio Paving Dublin installs patios and garden paving in Clonee for homeowners, landlords and businesses. We help you choose between resin, porcelain, natural stone and other finishes, with preparation, drainage and access assessed before work begins. Our September 2026 project below shows an Anchor Bay resin driveway and rear patio in Dublin 15.
If you are planning work at both the front and rear of your property, the surfaces can share a colour scheme while being specified for different uses. A driveway carrying cars and a patio used for seating need their own assessment of the base, levels and edges.
Completed in September 2026, this Clonee project included a resin driveway and rear patio in Anchor Bay colour, with silver granite cobblestone borders. The driveway photographs show the granite edging framing the resin surface in front of the brick house.
At the rear, the same resin colour continues across the patio outside the timber garden room. The photographs show how one finish can connect the appearance of two separate outdoor areas.
For a similar resin finish, allow for regular sweeping and occasional washing using suitable products. Leaves and dirt should not be left to build up. Colour and border choices are only part of the decision: a sound base and a suitable drainage arrangement need confirming before installation.

Outdoor-rated porcelain suits a clean, modern garden and regular outdoor dining. It needs relatively little upkeep, but correct bedding, joints and falls remain essential.
A durable natural stone for patios, steps and edging. Silver granite borders can provide contrast beside resin, as in our featured Clonee driveway.
Natural colour variation and earthy tones suit brick houses and gardens with planting. Choose it for character, allowing for routine cleaning and maintenance.
Small blocks suit paths, patios and decorative borders. Patterns can define different areas, while joints and edges need ongoing care to keep the paving tidy.
We also install limestone, concrete slabs, imprinted concrete and tarmac or asphalt. Steps, drainage, borders and artificial grass can be discussed as part of the layout.
Start with how you use the garden: space for a table, a clear route to the shed or garden room, and access to doors and service covers. In a compact rear garden, these everyday routes often matter more than adding another decorative feature.
If your existing patio has low spots or water collects beside the house, the cause should be assessed before a new surface is chosen. Levels, falls and any required drainage need to work together. We also check how materials and waste can be moved through the property, particularly where a rear garden has a narrow entrance.
Your quotation should make clear which preparation, removal and finishing work is included. Photos help with the first discussion; a site visit confirms details that cannot reliably be judged from a picture.

After researching for a while, I chose Patio Paving (Driveway Paving) as Tony was quick to respond to my enquiry and answered all my questions and concerns. His quote was very reasonable for the amount of work required. He was also able to fit my job in quickly. His team showed up on time and worked so hard the job was done in under two days. They explained everything, were friendly and polite. The finished job was superb and they cleaned and tidied up afterwards. I cannot recommend them enough.+0Posted on Google

After being told we would have to wait for at least six weeks to have a patio installed, the job taking a week to do, and having been quoted an extortionate amount of money for the privilege, we had a look around, and thanks to Microsoft Copilot and Google Maps reviews, we decided to give Tony a call. I called Tony on a Wednesday and by the following Wednesday, we already had our new patio. The lads arrived at 7:30 am and were finished by 4 pm on the same day. The service was second-to-none. I can't fault anything. The team were very friendly and efficient. Tony was very responsive. The price for the patio was very reasonable. The new patio installation has transformed our back garden. We are extremely happy with the level of work carried out by the five-man team. Thanks for everything, lads.+1Posted on Google

We had Tonys' lads out to install another 100m² of granite slabs & cobble sets. They did a fantastic job, yet again. They are a pleasure to work with, efficient, hard working & always willing to adapt plans as work progresses. I highly recommend this company for all your driveway & patio needs.+2

Yes. Our September 2026 Clonee project used Anchor Bay colour resin for both areas. The appearance can match, but a driveway carrying vehicles needs a suitable specification for that use. The base, edges and drainage should be assessed separately for the driveway and the patio.
Sometimes, if the existing surface and its base are sound and suitable for the chosen system. Cracks, movement, uneven levels or standing water need investigating first. An overlay should not be used simply to hide a failing patio. A site assessment will help establish whether replacement is needed.
The main factors are the area, material, access, removal of old paving, ground preparation and drainage. Steps, borders or other garden work also affect the quotation. Send photographs and a brief description by WhatsApp or through the form so we can discuss the project before arranging a site visit.
Access needs checking before the work is agreed. Send photos of gates, passages and the route from the road to the garden, alongside any useful measurements. This helps us plan deliveries, equipment and waste removal, and explain how the access arrangements affect the scope and cost.
